SAXONS GO TO CHURCH

 

This was our take on the raid scenario where Aelfroth's men are seeking loot from the church.

 

On this occasion, Nick Speller provided the Romano-British with his beautifully painted late Roman force. 

 

The Saxons got a head start and one group of warriors was tasked with heading straight for the church whilst the rest took on all-comers.

It was an emphatic victory for Aelfroth and the church was plundered.  In the background you can see the Fate Cards dealt to the RBs - these can be used to influence the game in various ways.
